Estonian director Jaak Kilmi delves into his latest film, The Shadow [+], which portrays Juhan Liiv, a struggling poet and unlikely detective who lived in his country during the Tsar’s crumbling empire. The film was in competition at the 28th Black Nights Film Festival.
